Hannah is a Client Director in our Auckland office. She joins SenateSHJ from Watercare where she has been a Communications Advisor, and prior to that was at Auckland Council. Before moving into the local government sector, Hannah held communications and research roles in the NGO and tertiary education sectors in Europe, Australia, and NZ. Alongside her practice Hannah has a strong academic interest in global trends and changes in the journalism industry, including cultural and alternative media practices. She holds Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Journalism, Media and Globalisation (with distinction), jointly awarded by Aarhus University (Denmark) and University of Hamburg (Germany), and a Bachelor of Communications Studies in Journalism from AUT. She started her career as a general reporter for Fairfax Media in Auckland.
