Sally McMicking
Sally is a professional communicator with strong project management skills. A creative writer, Sally develops organisational narratives and writes and edits major reports and internal communication collateral.
Sally has managed projects for a number of clients, including two community consultations on contentious issues for a Victorian government department, and a social marketing program around an education-related issue in two Victorian shires.
Most recently Sally worked as project manager on a significant social marketing project for a Victorian government department.
Sally is experienced in community consultation and stakeholder research and as part of her role, facilitates focus groups and conducts community research through telephone and face-to-face interviews and surveys. Sally has worked on several sensitive projects, and has experience in issues management and developing project risk registers.
Sally has undertaken pro bono media relations work, and has volunteered in the media relations unit of a large not-for-profit organisation. Sally has a Graduate Diploma in Public Relations from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne where she majored in Chinese language.
