Kim Wiener
Kim uses her professional communication skills, coupled with a creative and highly analytical approach, to produce communication outcomes specifically tailored to meet client’s needs.
Most recently, Kim managed the community pilot component of a state government-led social marketing program. Working on-the-ground, Kim liaised with community groups to establish partnerships, facilitated discussion groups and conducted interviews with community members and partners. She also developed a wide range of collateral to support this engagement.
Kim has also led strategic communications projects, developing communication strategies, detailed stakeholder engagement plans and supporting materials. She has also worked on several change and issues management projects for a number of high profile clients, as well as co-facilitating narrative workshops and assisting with brand development.
Frequently engaged for her skilful writing and editing capabilities, Kim has written a variety of change collateral materials, community flyers and fact sheets, organisational narratives, media monitoring reports, online content and proposals.
Kim has undertaken a wide variety of pro-bono work in the community sector, at both local and national levels. She is currently on the annual fundraising committee for the Big Issue, overseeing the 2012 annual fundraiser in its entirety. Kim has also worked on community projects including the Arnhem Land Marine Rescue Project, has organised for donations and compiled packages of essential items for victims of the Black Saturday bushfires and has volunteered with an organisation that teaches self-help skills to cancer patients and their families.
